It's been many years since I've gotten worked up over a Top List. I love them and I always come to one of two conclusions:
1. Hey, I agree with a lot of these, so maybe my tastes align with theirs. Let me see what else is here I might want to try.
2. I disagree with a lot of these, I'm skeptical I will like what else is here.
And that's it. Diversity of opinion is great.

Detroit Become Haman (seriously, why have no one mentioned any of these Quantic Dream games yet? They are brilliant)

Silence the Whispered World (short but so awesome)
Harold Halibut
Escape From Monkey Island
Tales of Monkey Island
Broken Sword 5 (I like 3 and 4 too though)
Runaway 1-3.
None come close to my absolute favourites from the 90s though:
The Longest Journey
Gabriel Knight 1-3 (love them all)
Broken Sword 1+2
Blade Runner
Curse of Monkey Island

One of the main reasons for this might be that AG community is fragmented now like never before.
A lot of social media channels, websites and forums are dedicated to AG subgenres like horror, investigation, escape room, etc.
People stay in these communities, rarely venturing to play a different kind of game, thus most of the new games discussions are held within these communities.
