My Solution


I saw the momentary flash of writing above the blocks read "Stop being so negative!"

I considered whether this had anything to do with the light in the picture or the blocks but didn't see a connection. Then I saw the "false" in the address bar which I changed to "true" and voila!

I also thought the password hint was a bit of a red herring in this level.

I vaguely remember that when the game first came out in the 2000s, the image was much darker and you really needed to brighten it up to see anything.

Hints for those who are struggling with level 4:
- if you don't see it, brighten your screen
- there is quite a famous code around here
- search for a place to insert the password
