I put it the checkout and removed it so many times because of bad reviews on GoG. It has a really recognizable style.

Apparently it has 90% discount right now - if you recommend it I'm buying it.

And here's the next one.

Good guess, but this is from a different game.

This spooky adventure is more on the traditional side. It's part of a series that started in 1989.

Is it a Famicom Detective Club game?

Regarding Detective Gallo: It's not what I'd call a 'Main Game' but as an appetizer or in-betweener, it's pretty good so far. The puzzles are fairly logical and challenging without hindering progress for long enough to make me want to reach for a guide --just remember that using your phone to call your informant is not an in-game hint system, it is *mandatory* to progress. Some times the puzzle solving actions of using items on other items is a little clunky and requires a few tries to do it the way the game requires you to do it, even though you had the right idea all along. And sometimes the jokes fall flat like when a five year old tells you something they think is hilarious and you're like...is that even a joke? Am I missing something or did that just go way under my head?

But altogether, it's very worthwhile so far.

Tex is scratched - Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent moon is correct!
