RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - Joe - 03-11-2026 Isn't it the Blood Nova? It's a story that should have been a novel, but somehow became a game. Blood Nova has some infuriating text walls, but I liked the graphics amd the vibes even if the navigation was a bit confusing at times. All yours! RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - Joe - 03-11-2026 I mean, there's so much backstory that it should be a bigger game or a book. I was overwhelmed by the game's lore to the point where I couldn't even follow what was going on. The painted silhouette of Hector was a giveaway I was very proud of how nicely that turned out! (03-11-2026, 06:26 PM)Joe Wrote: Isn't it the Blood Nova? I reviewed that game for this very website and was not kind to it. The graphics and atmosphere were definitely the highlights. This developer has so much talent, but just needs a really good producer to help them capitalize on their strengths and avoid the pitfalls that keep every game of theirs from transcending mediocrity-to-averageness. I look at screenshots and themes and think 'Wow, I'd love to play that!' and then...so-so-ness. RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - Joe - 03-12-2026 Correct RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - kamineko - 03-12-2026 Nice idea with the .gif. As a result of unsuccessful teleportation experiment three barns from different places fused into one. To unfuse them first it has to be determined which places they were teleported from. I hate when that happens. I'm pretty sure the right one is from Toonstruck. RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - Baron Blubba - 03-12-2026 And the one on the left is from Runaway. The one in the middle looks like Deponia. RE: Adventure game scene game (continued) - kamineko - 03-12-2026 (03-12-2026, 11:19 AM)Joe Wrote: I'm pretty sure the right one is from Toonstruck. That is one! (03-12-2026, 02:31 PM)Baron Blubba Wrote: And the one on the left is from Runaway. The one in the middle looks like Deponia. Deponia Doomsday to be precise but yes, that is two and three! Now the barns can be unfused (unless they decide to remain the unique new character they have become). Since Baron Blubba identified the last two it's his turn. |
