Yes! Finally Nightdive Studios will make the remaster of Thief, the best soft immersive sim of all! My favorite is 2 and I belived they will remaster the second game as well.

I played a lot Of the first Thief the gold edition, never finished it. I really liked it. Maybe it is my oppurtunity to finally complete the game (if my relic PC can handle the new one)

Thief gold was great! The story kind of fell apart in the second half, but the variety of ways to play made it so much fun. I loved the built in level editor, too.

On TLGS foruns people are asking if the old fan missions made for Thief 1 can be played with the remake version.
Since it's a new engine I don't think so, but could be a good idea have the original game and engine as a free DLC, so people can still play the fan missions
