Edinburgh, 1828. Fear grips the city as it becomes the scene of murders and kidnappings. The victims' bodies gradually disappear, used for scientific purposes, but also for far more sinister ones. It is under these grim circumstances that our two heroes, Joshua Gordon and Detective Norton, meet and are forced to work together against their will. However, Joshua, like other members of the Gordon clan, is haunted by a mysterious curse that affects more than just his own fate.

As the crowdfunding campaign was so successful, later after finishing basic game will be published also free "lets say DLC" called Kletba rodu Gordonů (in english it can be The Curse of the Gordons) with separate story about beginning of this curse, which will bring us to the middle ages, many years before original games.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
The Dark Eye being re-released is good news I didn't see coming. Although it's surely in the running for the "Worst Rebranding" award.
