Welcome everyone! This is a head-to-head tournament to crown the greatest LucasArts adventure box art of all time.
I’ve set up a 16-cover knockout bracket (see below). Each match-up will run for 3 days of open voting.

The rules are simple:

1. Vote based only on the box art, not the game itself.
   
2. Pick your favorite in each match-up.
   

At the end, we’ll crown the ultimate LucasArts cover champion.

Both are pretty good, but I'm going with The Dig for this first one! There's a sense of mystery to it, and it feels less cluttered than MI.

 The monkey Island doesn't appeal to me in style nor composition.

I agree that The Dig is a very strong image on many levels. I don't know though - I really like the orange / purple colour palette of the Monkey island, and the titles, even though it is a bit of a mess...

Have to go with The Dig in the end.

When the Curse of Monkey Island was released, I bought this, and I think I liked the cover back then.

But The Dig's cover is was really pulls me in. It is timeless, the composition is well done.

So my vote also goes to The Dig.

I’m going with CMI. It’s vivid without being garish, and I’m in love with LeChuck’s flaming beard.

Monkey Island has more style and personality, I like the way it's framed and I'm with Jen on the beard.
The Dig is more consistent. I like the ambiguous drama in the lighting.
