If I was on a video game store back in the day I would instantly pick Sam & Max between these 2 covers.

Voting Sam & Max

I dislike the Full Throttle box art, personally. While it does some basic composition stuff well, the 90s 3D model placed on top of a picture of an explosion just feels so cheap to me. It also makes it seem like more of an action game than an adventure game. Meanwhile, the Sam & Max art is a beautiful render that shows a masterful understanding of composition and great skill, 100% gives off a vibe of "whacky adventure" that is true to the actual game, and every little detail is related to the actual content of the game - without actually spoiling anything.

So obviously, my vote goes to Sam & Max Hit the Road for this one!

Sam & Max! It makes me want to go on a road trip through the USA.
