Arrrrgh! Like the pirate with a steering wheel between his legs, it was driving me nuts!
I admit that this game is a fairway from a traditional adventure game, but it does involve a lot of pointing and clicking, AND it's roughly on par with what passes for an adventure game on this very site these days, AND it was made by one of the forefathers of the genre, so it's not a totally bogus choice.

The other game from this company that features a lighthouse came out a year before this one. It's interesting to observe in hindsight how primitive these prerendered graphics are --back in the day they seemed evergreen.
